My goal is to support, coach and advocate for you and your child. I work to achieve the most appropriate learning outcomes to obtain the necessary Special Education services so that your child can receive educational benefit. My knowledge of Special Education and certification as a Special Ed Advocate will help you work with school districts in a knowledgeable and collaborative manner.
WHAT IS AN ADVOCATE?
A Special Education Advocate is a voice for exceptional children and their families. An advocate assists in ensuring your child’s needs are met by a school district and is provided with all the services that support those needs. An advocate supports and works towards a quality Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) with appropriate services for your child.
As a Special Education Advocate I use my training, experience, expertise and knowledge to ensure that your child receives a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) under their IEP in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
